The (re)appointment committee for the Chair of the Department of Laboratory Medicine & Pathobiology
The Acting Dean of Temerty Medicine has struck a committee to advise on the (re)appointment of the Chair of the Department of Laboratory Medicine & Pathobiology.
Professor Rita Kandel will be completing her first 5-year term as Chair of the Department of Laboratory Medicine & Pathobiology. Dr. Kandel is eligible for reappointment.
In accordance with the University of Toronto's “Policy on Appointment of Academic Administrators,” a committee has been struck to advise on the appointment of the Chair - considering whether to recommend the reappointment of Dr. Kandel for a second 5-year term or to proceed with a search.
You are welcome to input to the committee by February 9, 2022.
Your opinions will be treated in strict confidence and will be made known only to the Advisory Committee for the (Re)Appointment of Chair, Department of Laboratory Medicine & Pathobiology.
