Nades Palaniyar

Nades Palaniyar received a PhD in Molecular Biology and Genetics at the University of Guelph, Canada. As a Postdoctoral Fellow, he studied DNA/RNA and immune systems at the Universities of Cincinnati, USA, University of Oxford, UK, and Harvard Medical School, USA.
He continues to conduct research work on the innate immune system, neutrophils, NETs, rare pediatric lung diseases (e.g., cystic fibrosis, alveolar proteinosis, respiratory distress, surfactants, MUC5B deficiency, neuroendocrine system), COVID-19, and other infectious and inflammatory diseases. Dr Nades Palaniyar and his research lab made 78 original discoveries, and he authored more than 100 scientific publications and made more than 200 presentations in scientific conferences.
He has been a chair for the Technological Advances in Science, Medicine and Engineering (TASME) international conference for the last 15 years, and helped to increase the participation from 7 to 700. For his research work, leadership, and dedication, TASME awarded him a “Lifetime Scientific Achievement Award”, and a “Visionary Leader” title, and named an award as “Nades Palaniyar Award”, respectively. He has established an interview series to honor accomplished professors and scientists (with >60 interviews), and organized and appeared in more than 50 programs on several TV and radios.
