Parnian Ahmadi Moghaddam
MD
Research Synopsis
Dr. Moghaddam’s major area of research is gynecologic pathology with special focus on neoplasms of the endometrial and the ovarian origin. She is particularly interested in endometrial stromal tumors, and their association with different molecular alterations in various subtypes of these tumors.
Another area of her interest is studying rare types and unusual forms of ovarian tumors as many of these, though uncommon, impose diagnostic challenges to pathologists.
She is also interested in digital pathology and systematic pathology workload measurement.
