Case of the Month: November 2023
Clinical history
A 12-year-old patient presents to their family physician with a large abdominal mass as well as decrease in appetite and weight loss. The patient has no history of fever or hematuria. CT imaging demonstrated near complete replacement of the right kidney by tumour (19.8cm) with direct extension into the right adrenal gland and liver. Two separate 12 cm masses were also identified within the liver. Laboratory studies demonstrated normal HVA/VMA, AFP, HCG, INR, PTT
